Excited About Swords
Almost everyday, I see something that gets me excited about swords all over again. It could be something really small, like reading a passage in a novel where a sword plays an integral role (the Sword of Godric Gryffindor in the last Harry Potter book, for example), or something a bit larger like finding out that there is going to be another Conan movie – a rumor that has been circulating the Internet for years. While it is unsure if there even is going to be a new Conan, or if the man born to play Conan (that would be Arnold) would ever be able to reprise his role due to his political responsibilities remains unknown. Still, I get a little shiver every time I hear one of those rumors. To hold me over, I suppose I have the videogames, the DVDS, and the replica Conan sword that hangs above my computer.
