There are several different titleist wedges. One of them is the pitching wedge. The least lofted of the wedges a pitching wedge will come in at 46-50 degrees. It can be used from 120 yards out with a full swing to get to the green. The high flight makes the ball land and roll very little. This club would be perfect for getting you those birdie chances.
